History
    Friends Gary Rothschild and Randy Edmonds, were raised hunting and fishing in Southern Illinois. Gary is a dedicated Whitetail enthusiast, while Randy has diversified and become an accomplished Waterfowl and Wild Turkey hunter, having placed in several national goose calling competitions, state turkey calling competitions, and has bagged Wild Turkeys in many States.
    In 1991 we were invited to hunt on a friends farm in Williamson County, and after only a few days of scouting and hunting the area, we knew we had found a hunter's paradise. We began a long term process to purchase the property, and are happy to say that we are now in position to share our hot spot with you.
Now
    The Rock Creek Lodge is located on 80 acres, which is our waterfowl hunting site, consisting of 2 lakes and 3 large 5 man in ground concrete pits in the middle of 35 acres of agriculture, surrounded by hardwoods, thickets, and creek bottoms. Our facilities are a work in progress, and returning hunters will see changes from year to year. On site lodging is now available, and our second lake will provide year round recreation for our members.

We have Trophy Whitetail deer, Wild Turkey, Canada Goose, and Ducks. Our fall/winter deer and turkey hunts will be limited to a maximum of 4 hunters per day in order for us to provide you with the best hunting experience possible. Goose and duck hunters making advance reservations will be given first priority, but walk-ins are always welcome. Please go to our Rates/Reservations page for details on hunts, and rates.
    Our fondest hunting memories have come from teaching our children to hunt, and seeing the growth of their knowledge, love, and respect of nature. For this reason we give a 50% discount to kids under 16 who come to hunt with their parent(s). If your youngsters aren't yet hunting, they can go with you free of charge.
